This is usually caused by the battery protection mechanism, not a battery fault.
- The battery is fully charged the first time it is used.
- After that, it normally maintains about 85% charge to help extend battery life.
- Try using the machine until the battery level drops lower, then plug it in and leave it connected without unplugging. The battery may then charge to full.
