Xhorse key tool plus support BMW FEM / BDC types, customer use the VVDI Prog read the data from chip, and key tool plus or VVDI2 load the data write back.
We received one feedback that BMW f30 2014 can not write back the info to the 95256 chip in the fem / bdc itself via godiag fem / bdc + test platform
Here is the procedure:
VVDI PROG read the data
VVDI Key Tool Plus process:
The first step: Backup the code
1. After connecting the FEM/BDC system on the car or platform, back up original coding file through OBD
2.After pre-process starts, it is recommend not to close this page
1.Open FEM/BDC shell, find 95128 or 95256 chip(refer to location map), use editor to read EEPROM data
2. Load original EEPROM and prepare service EEPROM, write service EEPROM data to 95128/95256 chip
3.Restore FEM/BDC shell, provide +12v and connect OBD
And second step error: write failed
From the pic, you can see the connection is bad.
Here is the engineer reply:
The pin contact is not good, not the wrong connection. Clean the pin gray waterproof glue then check.
