When adding a smart key to a 2019 Peugeot 5008, the original PCB is A3M05 and the new key PCB is also A3M05. Although the remote functions work normally, the keyless entry/start function may fail. The vehicle can only start when the key is placed near the ignition coil.
Possible Cause:
The Xhorse XZPG00EN PSA smart key is designed for some PSA 4A system models only. It may support remote functions but not fully support keyless start on this Peugeot model.
Solution:
Use the Xhorse XM38 Smart Key instead. XM38 remotes have better compatibility with many PSA smart key systems.
A successful case was reported on a Peugeot 3008: after programming a new key with the Xhorse XM38, both remote functions and keyless start worked perfectly.
