In this article, we will show you how to reset crash data of an airbag module from a Skoda Octavia 2013 by Xhorse VVDI PROG.
Airbag:
Mask 3K85K.
Path on VVDI PROG:
MCU
MOTOROLA-MC68HC(9)08
HC908AZ60A_EEP
We can see mask 3k85k is on the list.
Check connection diagram.
Connect VVDI PROG to airbag PCB.
Read and save “EEPROM1” “EEPROM2” “CONFIG” data.
Switch to “HC908AZ60A_FLASH”.
Read FLASH data but fail.
Go to “Chip Config”.
Tick “Search from file”, here we select config file we just got.
Read again, get FLASH file, save it.
To overcome crash data, we need to clear data from line 00 to 40 of EEPROM1 data.
Write EEPOMR1 data back to airbag module.
Install SRS back to vehicle, no SRS lamp!
