When trying to read the original key data from a BMW BDC3 using the Xhorse Multi-Prog, the operation may fail regardless of whether you use the BDC3 solder-free adapter (#112/#113) or direct solder wiring.
The following errors may appear:
- Key para not found
- Chip power on failed
- Error code: 07050007 – App init fail
Cause
This issue is caused by a database error, not by incorrect wiring, the adapter, or the programming procedure.
Solution
Wait for the next Xhorse database update. The upcoming database version is expected to fix this bug and restore normal BDC3 key data reading.
