Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus with MLB Tool Adding 2019 Porsche Cayenne MLB Key OK

I successfully added a key to a 2019 Porsche Cayenne MLB using Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool and VVDI Key Tool Plus. The chip had to be soldered directly, and the capacitors were removed and reinstalled — better to have spares (0.1uF, 0603) in case they get lost or damaged.

Unlike a previous Lamborghini Urus job where the shell broke, I managed to carefully reuse the original Porsche shell. After generating the dealer key, the system requires learning two keys at once. The learning sensor is in the cupholder closest to the driver.

With the right tools and precautions, adding a Cayenne MLB key is straightforward.
