Cause:
In certain cases, the internal connection prevents the firmware update from being written properly, even though the process appears to complete.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
- Remove the bottom cover of your Dolphin II (XP005L).
- Locate the green connector inside the machine (see reference image below)
- Disconnect the green connector temporarily.
- Run the firmware update again via the Xhorse app.
- Once the update is complete, reconnect the green connector securely.
After performing these steps, your Xhorse Dolphin XP005L should display the correct firmware version, confirming the update was successful.
Always ensure you are using the official Xhorse app for updates and that your internet connection is stable during the process.
