Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus has received a new software update with support for BMW B48 LOCK (Read). With this new function, users can read the ISN from locked BMW B48 DME modules. The function is currently read-only, so writing is not supported.
As a practical example, the 2022 BMW X1 with a B48 engine can be processed in bench mode using the Bosch ECU Adapter to read the DME ISN. This update provides a convenient option for locksmiths and automotive technicians who need to retrieve ISN information from locked BMW B48 DMEs.
