How to Solve Xhorse Multi-Prog Failed to Execute VPA Problem?

Problem:

Xhorse Multi-Prog cannot communicate with the ECU, and there is no frequency signal output from the gray wire (P1).

Error message:
Failed to execute VPA. Error code: 040510C – Unknown error type.

How do I resolve this error?

Solution

1. Contact customer service to download Multi-Prog software V1.4.4.0.
2. Install V1.4.4.0 and update the Multi Prog database to the latest version.
3. Reconnect the ECU and try the operation again.
4. If the issue persists, send a diagnostic report to the Xhorse technical team for further analysis.
