Problem:
I’m trying to add a key to a 2019 Audi Q8 MLB using the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus, but I’m running into an issue.
The procedure stops with the error: “Vehicle Communication Abnormal”
Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a solution?
Solution:
Open the bonnet and leave it open. Turn on the hazard lights, then press the Start button a few times. After that, try the key learning procedure again.
If the vehicle is equipped with an SFD gateway, make sure the bonnet is open and the ignition is switched on. Unlock the SFD protection first, then proceed with key learning.
