I successfully added a smart key to a VW Tiguan using the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus, and the whole process went smoothly. I first read the EEPROM, then extracted the IMMO data and Sync data without any issues. After that, I generated a proximity key using a VVDI smart key and made the dealer key. Finally, I learned the remote and programmed the key. The new key started the vehicle perfectly and the keyless entry function is working great. Very satisfied with the result!
