Here is an Xhorse VVDI2 review:
Add a key when all keys lost or at least accessing immo data … for newer vag nec clusters by pogo pin ground cable … with vvdi2 programmer …
Here are the steps:
Turn on dash, and it displays “Key not in range”.
That’s the connection.
The key, Megamos 48.
Turn on dash again, and in VVDI2 enter “Skoda”.
Auto detect failed.
So we select
Key learn>>4th Immobilizer system – VW/Skoda/Seat>>Instrument with NEC+ 24C64
Read immo data via Login Method 2.
We have no working key so we failed.
Turn off ignition. Put the pogo pin on the chip and turn on ignition again.
Read immo data again, success!
Save immo data.
Put a new key into VVDI2 Key Programmer coil.
Click “Make Dealer Key”.
Key make complete.
Use new key to turn on dash, then VVDI2 automatically enter Add key steps.
Load immo data we just got.
Learning.
Success.
Reset instrument.
New key to turn on dash.
