How to use VVDI Pro to cut a pcb line for sim4le ecu W203?

Have VVDI PRO, sim4le ecu W203.
I need to cut a pcb line.
Do i need to repair this afterwards?
And would cutting it at the solderpoint not be more practical.

Or does that solder point, lead three ways.
Like downwards!

I could easily remove the solder, then cut it across 2/3 1/3 leaving 2/3 to attach my prog leads.
