How can Solve this problem seat ateca 2018 with Xhorse VVDI2 key programmer? error “ Current dashboard is not the selected type?”

Senior Xhorse user’s suggestion:

2018 seat ateca will be a 5C dash. Autodetect chooses wrong dash. Read id of existing key and check if it’s hitag or megamos. Xhorse VVDI2 won’t work on this car without online immo data calculation (Vag helper no longer works for seat).

 

Xhorsevvdi.com engineer replied:

For some MQB49, VVDI2 can generate successfully, but need the original key.
